Westview Summer STEM Academy

What is Summer STEM Academy:
June 2013 kicks off the inaugural year of the Westview Summer STEM Academy. This is a unique, diverse opportunity for students to explore interests in science, technology, engineering, math and the arts in an authentic hands-on environment. Students will have the opportunity to sign up for sessions of their choice. Students can decide to sign up for one, two, three or four sessions.

When is Summer STEM Academy?
There are four separate sessions available. Students can sign up for individual or all sessions.

Summer STEM occurs June 3 - 7 and June 10 - 14.
Session 1 - June 3-7 from 8:30 - 11:30
Session 2 - June 3-7 from 12:30 - 3:30
Session 3 - June 10-14 from 8:30 - 11:30
Session 4 - June 10 - 14 from 12:30-3:30

Any students that stay for both a morning and afternoon session will need to bring their own lunch. Students will be supervised during the lunch break from 11:30 - 12:30.

Where is Summer STEM Academy?
Summer Academy will be located at Westview Middle School locate at 1651 Airport Road, Longmont, Colorado. A couple of the classes do include field trips. Please see the Class Descriptions for information.

How much does Summer STEM Academy cost?
Prices range from $75 to $100 per session.
